What is an urban legend?
Legends and myths have been passed down from generation to
generation to teach young people a lesson. Lessons on promescuity,
respecting your elders, being kind to strangers, curiosity, and
responsibility have been very popular. For the most part, these legends
or myths are just stories. Stories that books and movies have glamorized
throughout the years. Most of you have friends that know someone who
claim to have actually experienced one of these legends, like "Bloody
Mary" or "Gang Initiation"
